What a LinkLeak audit report looks like.

Anonymized example based on a real audit. Issue types, severity levels, and structure are representative of what I deliver.

Severity Issue type Source page Why it matters Suggested fix
High Broken destination (404) /best-coffee-grinders/ Readers land on a dead Amazon page. No purchase possible. Replace with current ASIN or remove link.
High Broken destination (404) /best-coffee-grinders/ Second discontinued product on highest-traffic review page. Replace with updated model or remove.
High Broken destination (404) /espresso-machine-comparison/ Product gone. High purchase-intent page with dead link. Replace with current alternative.
Medium Missing affiliate tag /pour-over-coffee-guide/ Valid product, tag absent. Purchases happen but aren’t attributed to you. Add ?tag=YOUR_TAG to URL.
Medium Missing affiliate tag /pour-over-coffee-guide/ Second untagged link on same page. Consistent gap, not a one-off. Add ?tag=YOUR_TAG to URL.
Medium Missing affiliate tag /best-coffee-beans/ High organic traffic page. Every untagged click is an unattributed sale. Add affiliate tag to each Amazon link on this page.
Medium Missing affiliate tag /home-espresso-setup/ Tag missing on 3 of 5 product links. Systematic gap on this page. Audit all links on this page and add tags.
Low Possible revenue leak — tag to verify /cold-brew-equipment/ Link resolves but destination response was inconclusive. May be intermittent. Manually verify link and tag are intact.

How to read this report

Severity levels

High — links that actively prevent purchases (404, product discontinued). Medium — tag issues where purchases happen but aren’t attributed to you. Low — findings that require manual verification.

Issue types

“Broken destination” means the Amazon URL returns a 404 or redirects to an unrelated product. “Missing affiliate tag” means the link goes to a valid product but lacks your tracking tag. Both types are separately verified before I report them.
